Highways, bridges, tunnels, road infrastructure:
We can end the private Highway 407. City highways could be a lot better with open highways, not privilege at the expense of everyone else, of course if you like more traffic jams, tolls and transportation infrastructure nightmares, don’t change anything. Even the Queen does not have toll roads in Canada.
Federal & Provincial roads and infrastructure...remember when the Federal roads were transferred to the Provinces, and Provincial roads were transferred to the municipalities, which of course are not allowed to have debt, naturally, guess what happens? eh? Are you still guessing?
Finally, usually when there is roadwork going on it means there is an election....and naturally property taxes go up to pay for the roads which were originally looked after by another jurisdiction as authorized, right? There must be a better way for national logistics.
